Though I've played with artwork for many years, is wasn't until 2006 that I really started painting. The funny thing was, my drive was to "get back to painting." I guess that means it was always in me somewhere, but just didn't have an outlet. So here it is--out--at least some of what I've generated so far.

I'm still playing with different media, but I'm by far most comfortable with acrylic. Apparently, I use the paint in less-than-conventional ways, because people who have looked at certain pieces have asked if they are oil or watercolor. I just like to experiment and find ways to paint what I see in my mind.

I don't pretend to be a highly trained artist. I just paint from the heart.
